Arnold Hau

Machine-translated from the German article

Arnold Hau is a fictional character of the Neue Frankfurter Schule (New Frankfurt School). The poets, authors and cartoonists F. W. Bernstein, Robert Gernhardt and F. K. Waechter regularly published the two-page nonsense column Welt im Spiegel (WimS) in the satirical magazine pardon from 1964 to 1976. In 1966 they decided to publish texts and drawings that, due to their length or type, did not fit into WimS, in a book.
