The Austrian company employs more than 12,200 people worldwide (including 4,100 in Graz) and had a turnover of 2.03 billion euros in 2024. AVL is divided into three business units: Powertrain Engineering, Instrumentation and Test Systems and Advanced Simulation Technology. The current areas of activity include Electrification, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Autonomous Driving, Methodologies and Technologies for vehicle development, Emission-free Mobility Solutions and Data Intelligence Services.
