Bruno Jean Cornil Metsu (28 January 1954 – 15 October 2013) was a French footballer and football manager. During his senior playing career from 1973 to 1987, he played for seven different clubs in France. From 1988 until his death, he was the manager of a total of nine clubs in France and Persian Gulf region, the Guinea, Senegal, United Arab Emirates and Qatar national football teams. He coached Senegal to the quarter-finals of the 2002 FIFA World Cup, during which his team defeated defending champions France in the opening match of the tournament.
