mai più io scorderò; mi rimane dentro il cuore con la mia gioventù» Casa bianca is a song composed by Eligio La Valle for the music, with lyrics by Don Backy, which was presented at the 1968 Sanremo Music Festival in a joint performance by Ornella Vanoni and Marisa Sannia, and placed 2nd. Casa Bianca was presented at the 1968 Sanremo Festival by Ornella Vanoni paired with the version by the then-emerging Marisa Sannia, who would however prove to be the most commercially successful version, with over 320,000 copies sold. Vanoni had previously recorded, in anticipation of her participation in the Festival, the demo of Che vale per me, a refined song by Carlo Alberto Rossi that the Milanese singer was to perform alongside the great Sarah Vaughan (who however withdrew and was later replaced by Eartha Kitt).
