Machine-translated from the French article

Cleaning trades, or occupations involving a cleaning activity, cover many professions and socio-professional categories. The French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee) considered in 2018 that the "cleaning trades" include the socio-professional categories of "cleaners (684A), service agents (525A to 525D), home helpers, household aides and family workers (563B), domestic employees and household staff for private individuals (563C)"; among them, only cleaners do only housework. The "cleaning sector" includes the activities of routine cleaning, itself grouping building cleaning and broader activities contributing to building management and maintenance, and specialized cleaning.
