Country Express

Machine-translated from the Swedish article

Country Express is a Finnish country and western group, Finland's most successful in its genre. Country Express was formed in Karis in 1974 by steel guitarist Göran Grönqvist (born 1941) as a septet. After only a few performances, the group won the Nordic Country Music Championships at Liseberg in Gothenburg in 1975, which brought publicity in their home country and led to a record contract.
