Count Carl Gustaf Bloomfield Eric von Rosen (2 June 1879 in Stockholm – 25 April 1948 Skeppsholmen, Stockholm) was a Swedish honorary doctor, patron, explorer, ethnographer and prominent figure in the Swedish upper class. His early life involved ethnographic expeditions to South America and Africa. However, his enduring legacy centers on his active promotion of nordicism, eugenics and national socialism. His political work culminated in co-founding the Swedish National Socialist Bloc, which sought alignment with Nazi Germany. Eric von Rosen also maintained a close personal connection to German aviator and politician Hermann Göring.
