Professor Yevhen Oksarovych Paton (Ukrainian: Євген Оксарович Патон; 5 March 1870 – 12 August 1953), also known as Evgeny Oskarovich Paton (Russian: Евгений Оскарович Патон), was a Russian Empire and Soviet Union engineer who established in 1934 the E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute in Kyiv. Paton was a people's deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union (1946–1953).
