Forsaken is the second single from the progressive metal/rock band Dream Theater from their ninth studio album, Systematic Chaos, written by guitarist John Petrucci. Petrucci said "Forsaken" is a story told through "a short song structure". The song tells of a person who is visited by a vampire at night.
