Harishchandragad is a historic hill fort in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India. It is located in present-day Ahilyanagar district in the Sahyadri range and is closely associated with Malshej Ghat, Khireshwar, Pachnai and the wider Kalsubai–Harishchandragad landscape. The fort rises to about 1,422 m (4,665 ft) and is known for its medieval caves, the Harishchandreshwar temple, Kedareshwar Cave, Saptatirtha Pushkarni, Taramati Peak and the dramatic Kokan Kada cliff. The Caves and Temple, Harishchandragad are listed by the Archaeological Survey of India as a centrally protected monument under the Aurangabad Circle.
