Helensburgh ( HEL-ənz-bər-ə; Scottish Gaelic: Baile Eilidh) is a town and former burgh on the north side of the Firth of Clyde in Scotland, situated at the mouth of the Gareloch. The town had a population of 14,127 in 2022. Historically in Dunbartonshire, it became part of Argyll and Bute following local government reorganisation in 1996.
