Mariam Baouardy, OCD (Arabic: مريم بواردي; religious name Mary of Jesus Crucified; 5 January 1846 – 26 August 1878) was a Palestinian Discalced Carmelite nun of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. Born to parents from the town of Hurfiesh in the upper Galilee, she later moved to I’billin and was known for her service to the poor.

Mariam Baouardy, OCD (Arabic: مريم بواردي; religious name Mary of Jesus Crucified; 5 January 1846 – 26 August 1878) was a Palestinian Discalced Carmelite nun of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. Born to parents from the town of Hurfiesh in the upper Galilee, she later moved to I’billin and was known for her service to the poor. In addition, she was a Christian mystic who suffered the stigmata. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II on 13 November 1983 and canonized on 17 May 2015 by Pope Francis.
