Masacre 68 or Massacre 68 is a Mexican hardcore punk band that remains active, as it was in its first period from 1987 to 1991. The name Masacre 68 was proposed by Thrasher (Histeria, Atoxxxico, AK47) and the other band members agreed. The name is a tribute to the students killed in Mexico on 2 October 1968 in what became known as the Tlatelolco Massacre, and a general reminder of the student movement that took place that year.
