Mehlingen (German pronunciation: [ˈmeːlɪŋən]) is a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany. It is located 5 km (3.1 mi) outside Kaiserslautern and has a population of just under 4,000.
