She is a contributing editor for Vice and has written for a variety of other outlets, as well as publishing books, including the illustrated memoir Drawing Blood (2015), Discordia (with Laurie Penny) on the Greek economic crisis, the art books Devil in the Details and Week in Hell (2012), and a history of the Jewish Labor Bund called Here Where We Live Is Our Country (2026), which is a New York Times best seller.
