Pescasseroli (Italian: [peskasˈsɛːroli]; Marsicano: Péšchë or zë Péšchë) is a town and comune (municipality) in the province of L'Aquila, Abruzzo, southern Italy. A summer and winter resort, it is also the location of the Abruzzo National Park, nestled in the heart of the Monti Marsicani. Philosopher Benedetto Croce was born there in 1866.
