I QuartAumentata are an ethnic/folk music group formed in Locri in 1998. The group was formed in 1998 from the artistic meeting of four musicians from Calabria: Paolo Sofia, Peppe Platani, Salvatore Gullace and Massimo Cusato, coming from different experiences (jazz, pop, classical). The occasion for the meeting was the composition of the music for the theatrical project "Gruppo Spontaneo".
