Sennentuntschi

Machine-translated from the German article

Das Sennentuntschi, also known as Hausäli or Sennpoppa (herdsman's doll), is a legend motif widespread throughout the German-speaking Alpine region. The Weissenboden below the Kinzig Pass in the Schächental is one of the alpine pastures on which the "Sennentuntschi" is said to have appeared. The same legend is, however, also told in the Urseren Valley and in other areas of the Alps.
