Szprotawa [ʂprɔˈtava] (German: Sprottau) is a town in western Poland, in Żagań County, Lubusz Voivodeship. Founded in the Middle Ages, Szprotawa features several heritage sites, including medieval defensive walls, Romanesque and Gothic churches, a Renaissance town hall, and the Museum of the Szprotawa Land. The town had 11,820 inhabitants in 2019.
