Telex-Chile

Machine-translated from the Spanish article

Telex-Chile Comunicaciones Telegráficas S.A. was a telecommunications company present in Chile that was mainly dedicated to the telegraph service, whose messages were sent through a telex network similar to the telephone network. When telephone service, both residential and mobile, and internet use became widespread in Chile, the telegram service declined, and the company became extinct. Currently it only has legal existence but no longer performs the primary function for which it was originally created, which is the telegraph service.
