TV-nytt

Machine-translated from the Swedish article

TV-nytt was a news programme on Sveriges Radio from 1969 to 1978 that conveyed news in telegram form. In preparing for the division of Sveriges Radio TV into two channels, a recurring concern was how to achieve news coverage that was both comprehensive and efficient. The government bill of 1966 proposed that a separate editorial unit would be responsible for providing "factual" news on both channels, while the channels' own resources would be devoted to "commentary, analysis and reporting".
