Zara Larsson

Zara Maria Larsson (Swedish: [ˈsɑ̂ːra ˈlɑ̌ːʂɔn] ; born 16 December 1997) is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She first rose to prominence in 2008 after winning the second season of the Swedish talent show competition Talang. After signing with Ten Music Group, she released her debut extended play (EP), Introducing (2013), which featured her first Swedish number-one single, "Uncover". Her debut studio album, 1 (2014), produced the Swedish top-ten singles "Carry You Home" and "Rooftop". After transitioning to Epic Records, Larsson achieved an international breakthrough with her second studio album, So Good (2017). The album was led by a string of successful singles, including its lead single "Lush Life", which became one of the best-selling songs of the 2010s in the United Kingdom, as well as "Never Forget You" (with MNEK), "Ain't My Fault", and "I Would Like". She later scored her first UK number-one single from featuring on Clean Bandit's 2017 single "Symphony". Larsson found further commercial success in Europe with her next studio album, Poster Girl (2021), and its lead single "Ruin My Life". In 2022, Larsson left Ten Music Group and acquired her music catalogue. She subsequently released her fourth studio album, Venus (2024), which became her first major release under her own label, Sommer House. She also made her acting debut in the Swedish Netflix drama A Part of You (2024). In 2025, she released her fifth studio album, Midnight Sun, to widespread critical acclaim. Its title track became Larsson's highest charting solo entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, and earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording.
