Daniel Bar-Tal (Hebrew: דניאל בר-טל; born 1946) is an Israeli political psychologist and Professor Emeritus at the School of Education, Tel Aviv University. He is known for his research on the socio-psychological foundations and dynamics of intractable conflict, particularly the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Daniel Bar-Tal (Hebrew: דניאל בר-טל; born 1946) is an Israeli political psychologist and Professor Emeritus at the School of Education, Tel Aviv University. He is known for his research on the socio-psychological foundations and dynamics of intractable conflict, particularly the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He was elected a foreign member of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2017 and received the Morton Deutsch Conflict Resolution Award from Division 48 of the American Psychological Association in 2014. He served as President of the International Society of Political Psychology in 1999–2000, as Co-Editor in Chief of the Palestine-Israel Journal from 2001 to 2005, and as Co-Director of the European Summer Institute in Political Psychology.
