Gmina Warta is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Sieradz County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. Its seat is the town of Warta, which lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north-west of Sieradz and 59 km (37 mi) west of the regional capital Łódź. The gmina covers an area of 252.91 square kilometres (97.6 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 13,074 (out of which the population of Warta amounts to 3,388, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 9,686).
