Michael Alexander Kirkwood Halliday (o M. A. K. Halliday) (Yorkshire, Reino Unido, 13 de abril de 1925- 15 de abril del 2018 Sídney, Australia) fue un lingüista, filósofo, pedagogo y profesor universitario australiano de origen británico. Es conocido por haber desarrollado una teoría gramatical conocida como Gramática sistémico funcional o Lingüística sistémica funcional (SFL, por sus siglas en inglés).
