Oleksandr Pavlovych Liashko (Ukrainian: Олександр Павлович Ляшко; 12 January [O.S. 30 December 1915] 1916 – 9 October 2002) was a Soviet Ukrainian politician. He served as the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR (a role equivalent to today's Prime Minister of Ukraine) for more than 15 years, making him the longest-serving person in that position. Liashko was also a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1961 to 1989. In 1985, he was honored with the Hero of Socialist Labour award.
