Raj Kumar Singh (born 20 December 1952) joined the IPS (Indian Police Service) in 1974 and the IAS (Indian Administrative Service) in 1975. He was the Home Secretary of India from 2011 to 2013. He was the Member of the Indian Parliament for Arrah, Bihar, from May 2014 to 4 June 2024.

Raj Kumar Singh (born 20 December 1952) joined the IPS (Indian Police Service) in 1974 and the IAS (Indian Administrative Service) in 1975. He was the Home Secretary of India from 2011 to 2013. He was the Member of the Indian Parliament for Arrah, Bihar, from May 2014 to 4 June 2024. On 3 September 2017, he was appointed the Minister of Power (Independent Charge) in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet.2] On 30 May 2019, he was appointed Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Power, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and Minister of State in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. On 7 July 2021, he was elevated to the rank of Cabinet minister.
