Awarapan 2 (transl. Vagrancy 2) is a 2026 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Nitin Kakkar, written by Kakkar, Bilal Siddiqui and Vishesh Bhatt, and produced under his banner Vishesh Films. A sequel to the 2007 film Awarapan, the film stars Emraan Hashmi, Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi. It follows former gangster Shivam Pandit, who is revealed to have survived a fatal number on his life roughly two decades earlier, as he embarks on a mission to bust a child trafficking racket in Bangkok after a baby girl he gave up for adoption is declared missing. The film was announced in March 2025 with principal photography taking place from September 2025 to June 2026 across Bangkok, Rajasthan, Malaysia and Mumbai. Awarapan 2 was theatrically released on 14 August 2026 coinciding with the Indian Independence Day weekend. It received positive-to-mixed reviews from critics. It was a commercial success and is currently the 7th highest-grossing Hindi film of 2026.
