Cornwall Council is one of two councils within the ceremonial county of Cornwall. It is responsible for local government on the Cornish mainland. The Isles of Scilly have had a separate council since 1891, although Cornwall Council provides some services to the islands. Cornwall Council's headquarters is Lys Kernow (also known as New County Hall) in Truro. The council has been under no overall control since July 2024. Following the May 2025 election an administration of the Liberal Democrats and independents formed to run the council.
