The Moment is the first greatest hits album by Singaporean singer Stefanie Sun. It was released throughout Greater China on 22 August 2003, by Warner Music Taiwan. The album contains seven new songs and fifteen songs from her previous albums. It contains 22 songs in total and is produced by Peter Lee, Kenn C, Stefanie Sun and Weizhen Chen. The album sold more than 1.5 million copies in Asia. On the first day of the album's official release, 200,000 copies were sold in Taiwan. By the end of 2003, it was reported that The Moment had sold 257,000 copies in Taiwan, making it the 7th highest selling album of the year in the country. Shortly after the release of The Moment, Sun publicly announced that she would "take a break" from the music industry for about a year.
