Hyuk Shin (Korean: 신혁; born June 5, 1985) is a South Korean record producer, music executive, and entrepreneur who has worked with artists including as Justin Bieber, Anderson .Paak, Blackbear, Dean, NCT, Super Junior, TXT, EXO, Monsta X, Shinee, and Girls' Generation. Shin was the first South Korean-born record producer to have entered the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2009 with Justin Bieber's hit single "One Less Lonely Girl". He established 153/Joombas Music Group in 2011, an independent music production and music publishing company. Shin produced "Growl" by EXO in 2013, which led to the first million-seller album in the digital streaming era. "Growl" was also selected as the representative K-Pop song at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and ranked No. 2 on Melon's Top 100 Best K-Pop Songs of All Time. As an entrepreneur, Shin has partnered with global music companies such as Warner Music Group, Warner Chappell Music, Universal Music Group, and SM Entertainment for various projects and ventures.
