Khomutovsky District (Russian: Хомуто́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,194 square kilometers (461 sq mi).

Khomutovsky District (Russian: Хомуто́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,194 square kilometers (461 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Khomutovka. Population: 8,539 (2021 census); 11,429 (2010 census); 16,432 (2002 Census); 21,110 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Khomutovka accounts for 43.9% of the district's total population.
