The Trakhtemyriv Monastery (Ukrainian: Трахтемирівський монастир, romanized: Trakhtemyrivskyi monastyr) was the main Othodox monastery of the Registered Cossacks, located near the settlements of Trakhtemyriv and Zarubnytsiv of modern-day Cherkasy Oblast in Ukraine. As such, it was the de facto capital of the Registered Cossack army. The date of the monastery's foundation is unknown. The decree of Polish King Stephen Báthory dated 1578 made the monastery a place where sick and elderly Registered Cossacks could live at. In 1637, a Polish szlachta army ruined the monastery. It was rebuilt under Bohdan Khmelnytsky. It was destroyed by Ottoman forces in 1678. This time, it was not reconstructed, and its position as the Сossack monastery was replaced by the Mezhyhirya Monastery near Vyshhorod. The area where the monastery was located, the former village of Monastyrok, has been submerged under the Kaniv Reservoir due to the construction of the Kaniv Hydroelectric Station.
