Chernigovsky District (Russian: Черни́говский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-two in Primorsky Krai, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the krai. The area of the district is 1,840.4 square kilometers (710.6 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Chernigovka. Population: 36,230 (2010 census); 39,554 (2002 census); 45,782 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Chernigovka accounts for 36.0% of the district's total population.
