Ivaí is a municipality in the state of Paraná in the Southern Region of Brazil. The town was established in 1907-1910 and settled by around 2,000 Ukrainian and 1,000 Polish migrants. Later a Basilian monastery with a novitiate and studies of philosophy was established here.
