Michael Chomiak (Ukrainian: Михайло Хом'як, romanized: Mykhailo Khomiak; August 12, 1905 – April 16, 1984) was a Ukrainian lawyer, journalist, and community activist who contributed to and edited several newspapers, including Dilo (lit. 'Deed'), the largest Western Ukrainian daily during the interwar period. From 1940 to 1945, he served as chief editor of Krakivs'ki Visti (lit. 'Kraków News'), the leading German-controlled and censored Ukrainian-language publication in the General Government, a role for which he has been described as a Nazi collaborator. Chomiak also authored a number of articles in the Encyclopedia of Ukraine.
