'Deed'), the largest Western Ukrainian daily during the interwar period. From 1940 to 1945, he served as chief editor of Krakivs'ki Visti (lit. 'Kraków News'), the leading German-controlled and censored Ukrainian-language publication in the General Government, a role for which he has been described as a Nazi collaborator. Chomiak also authored a number of articles in the Encyclopedia of Ukraine.
